綠黨黨領石珍宣布辭職

【大紀元2013年08月15日訊】卑詩綠黨黨領石珍宣布辭去黨領一職，成為5月省選後第二名宣布辭職的政黨黨領。
　　
石珍表示，將會在下星期六的黨大會結束後正式退位，由黨員選出下任黨領。
　　
當被問到現在代表溫哥華島Oak Bay-Gordon Head選區的綠黨唯一的省議員Andrew Weaver會否成為新黨領。石珍表示，該黨會根據既定機制進行選舉，但她相信Weaver會是大熱人選。
　　
石珍在2007年開始擔任綠黨黨領，她表示綠黨現在更加強大，財政狀況亦相比以前穩建。石珍今年5月省選時競選失敗，輸給省新民主黨的詹嘉露。◇
