壹電視主播蕭彤雯24日在臉書寫：「真的是，相見恨晚嗎？其實，晚點認識一個人，或許才是幸福…因歷經風雨，磨去稜角，留下智慧，才更懂得珍惜。」感性文字讓網友紛紛猜測她有新戀情。

蕭彤雯離婚快３年，有一女兒，她在臉書說：「等著他一見妳就明白，有個像妳這樣的人愛著他，是多麼的幸運與幸福，記得啊，相見，永遠不嫌晚，只嫌早。」她笑說只是有感而發，否認有新歡：「我單身好久了，大家都以為我不缺，但就是因為這樣，都沒人介紹男朋友給我！」她渴望遇到成熟又懂得彼此珍惜的另一半，對愛仍有期待。
