美國玻璃基板大廠康寧公司（紐約證交所代碼：GLW）於9/23宣佈台灣康寧顯示玻璃公司（CDTT）總經理職務，改由曾崇凱（Daniel Tseng）接棒出任。至於台灣康寧原任董事長暨總經理余智敦（Alan Eusden）將繼續擔任董事長職務。

台灣康寧說明，曾崇凱加入台灣康寧時間達10年，曾擔任過生產、品管、業務等各部門要職。原任台灣康寧業務及營運總監，現在出任台灣康寧總經理，這也是台灣康寧首位出任總經理職務之（台灣）本土員工。

目前康寧在台灣分別於台中與台南設有工廠，主要生產LCD玻璃基板及Corning Gorilla Glass保護玻璃。同時在新竹設置康寧研發中心、在台北內湖設立亞洲玻璃技術中心。康寧目前亦為台灣外商製造業投資金額最高的公司之一。

台灣康寧董事長余智敦表示，一直以來，在台灣培養當地領導人才是台灣康寧的首要任務之一，曾崇凱升任為台灣康寧總經理就是落實此一承諾，相信此將有助於擴展康寧服務並獲得台灣客戶支援。
