大陸國家主席習近平赴印尼峇里島出席亞太經合組織(APEC)第二十一次領導人非正式會議。此次會議是習近平首次出席亞太經合組織領導人非正式會議，受到各方高度關注。

在領導人非正式會議上，習近平預期將圍繞會議不同階段主題，闡述中方對當前全球經濟形勢、亞太經合組織在加強多邊貿易體制方面的作用、亞太互聯互通、可持續和公平增長等問題的看法，並將介紹中方主辦明年亞太經合組織領導人會議的考慮。

在亞太經合組織工商領導人峰會上，習近平將發表主旨演講，闡述大陸當前經濟形勢和下步改革措施，以及對亞太未來發展方向的看法。在領導人與亞太經合組織工商諮詢理事會代表對話會上，習近平將與工商界就亞太經濟形勢等共同關心的問題交換看法。
