蘋果執行長庫克領取母校成就獎 發表感言力挺同性戀

《TIME》報導，向來對媒體害羞的蘋果( (US-AAPL) )執行長庫克，(Tim Cook)本周在聯合國發表了演講。而庫克的母校Auburn 大學，則在周六PO上他13分鐘的演講。

庫克在接收母校成就獎項後，做出了演講。他述說了年輕時曾看過人燒十字架，這事「改變了他一生」，他繼續說「從那早年的日子後，我看到及體驗過許多種類的歧視，而這些都是從與主流不同的恐懼而生。」

現年53歲的庫克，繼續敘述他在90年代末期加入蘋果後找到的價值，以及在賈伯斯身上學到的東西。

這當中包括製造殘障人士也能用的商品，以及支持全國無歧視法案。

庫克繼續討論同性戀的權利，表示「現在是將基本人性寫進法條的時候。」他也支持移民法案的修改。「要這麼做，不要只是因為這對經濟有利(雖然的確也是)，要這麼做的原因是這是對的事。」他說。
