竊盜案賠償和刑責

起因東西被偷
之後又再被偷點埋伏小偷
被抓到了

那時損失了現金兩千多和一台相機

警察有叫我去做筆錄
小偷說會賠償
但是真的會賠償嗎??
他說我們(還有另三位受害者)加重刑責
要關更久~~~這樣不知道還到何時
該相信他的話嗎??

想請問??
該如何跟他討自身的損失??

那需要加重他刑責還是怎麼處理才好??
