　　 《韓國聯合通訊社》周二 (25日) 報導，根據研究機構 Strategy Analytics 數據報導，去 (2012) 年南韓民眾持有智慧手機的比例，在全球已然居冠，主要係受到手機需求增長，以及網路連線速度加快等影響。

研究數據顯示，去年南韓國內 67.6％ 民眾持有智慧手機，在全世界占最高比例，全球平均智慧手機持有率僅 14.8％。

2011 年間，南韓智慧手機持有量在全球排名第 4，比率為 38.3％，不過較 2010、2009 年的 14％ 和 2％ 相比，可謂是迅速彈升。

Strategy Analytics 預期，南韓智慧手機普及率今 (2013) 年可上達 79.5％，超越新加坡預期比率 66.5％，以及香港的 63.6％。

2017 年間，南韓智慧手機持有率估計將上看 88.9％。

去年期間，新加坡智慧手機普及率 54.9％，瑞典和丹麥各自為 46.9％ 和 43.4％。美國則為 39.8％。
