企業促貶台幣 彭為機車族請命

（中央社記者高照芬台北27日電）中央銀行總裁彭淮南今天表示，新台幣匯率如對美元貶值1%，工具機業者出口所得美元，換成新台幣收益增加1%；但油價上漲，1500萬機車族每次加油，油錢可能要增加1%。

由於工具機業一再要求新台幣應同日圓貶值；彭淮南親自提筆寫下，工具機業一再主張新台幣貶值，央行的看法。

他表示，央行充分了解工具機業者的心情，但希望工具機業者了解，匯率不但與工具機業有關，也會影響其他業者及廣大的消費者。

彭淮南說，新台幣如對美元貶值1%，中油公司購油每支付1美元，換算成新台幣就需增加1%，1500萬機車族每次加油，油錢可能要增加1%，他們是沈默的大眾（silent majority）。

彭淮南指出，新台幣匯率不能同時貶值又升值，新台幣匯率是一種價格，宜由外匯市場供需決定。新台幣匯率如過度波動或產生失序變動，央行會維持外匯市場的秩序。1020627
