《國際產業》NAND需求回溫，東芝忙擴產

【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】東芝公司周二宣布，將擴大日本三重縣四日市（Yokkaichi）廠的NAND快閃記憶體晶片產能，預計擴建工程將於今年八月動工、2014年夏季完工。東芝表示，這項擴產計畫將耗資近300億日圓（3億美元）。

用於智慧型手機與記憶卡的NAND晶片需求回溫，加上日圓貶值有助於提升東芝迎戰三星電子的競爭力，東芝即將上任的社長田中久雄最近接受採訪時就曾表示該廠可能展開擴建計畫。
