「善心死時安樂而死，將欲終時無極苦受逼迫於身；惡心死時苦惱而死，將命終時極重苦受逼迫於身。」由此可知，有情個體臨終時的善、惡心念可以決定他的「死亡品質」與「死亡的尊嚴」。「善心死時安樂而死，將欲終時無極苦受逼迫於身」這一段描述，透露了一項重要的訊息，即是死亡並非如一般人所認為就是苦惱、恐怖的，其實是可以很安樂、愉悅的經驗，可以釐清與化解一般人面對死亡的恐懼與成見。請各位前賢大德慈悲指導，阿彌陀佛！
