陶晶瑩（陶子）主持金曲獎典禮時，趁廣告時間抱怨，又在節目上道歉，堪稱荒腔走板，她８日透過經紀人小支說「我會檢討疏失」。小支無奈地說，「批評見仁見智，但我和每個工作人員都愛陶子，就是因為她敢愛敢恨，我們才覺得她那麼可愛。」

小支說，「陶子在台上會說話，並不只因為看了批評她的網路即時新聞。」典禮收音問題頻傳，蔡依林演出時，後台只有音樂聲、沒有歌聲，還夾雜觀眾的微詞，「她認為她該負起責任，就出來道歉。」他說，後台收音更差，工作人員跑來跑去大吼聽不到，讓陶子心情受影響。

「我們虛心接受所有批評，也會反省所有問題，但一切都過去了，她不會作無謂的口水戰，也不會再多發言。」不論陶子或小支事後如何解釋陶子在金曲獎上的脫序，熟悉她的人認為，她個性衝動是最大原因，過去因此引起多次爭議，婚後她漸漸沉穩，不料本性難移，求好心切下還是控制不住，或許，這次「中年衝動」對她是好的提醒：玫瑰可愛，但別被自己的刺傷到！
