郭鑫８日出席活動，他一年半來少上綜藝節目，僅靠存款和零星通告過活，月支出３萬元，扣除房租２萬３，伙食費不到１萬。他笑說為省錢常到徐詣帆、陽帆家吃飯，剩菜順便打包回家，最近還想上《型男大主廚》，只因贏了廚藝比賽就可為新家添只新電鍋，力行節儉精神。

他想專心朝戲劇發展，最近拍八大新戲《愛的生存之道》演國標舞老師，他不會跳國標舞，學舞也力行省錢之道；他學探戈１個月，除劇組找的老師外，戲裡演他學生的小嫻也充當助教，還靠陽帆老婆Julie沒用過的上課券學舞，也是免費。他自認跳舞有天分，「如果還有免費，願意繼續學！」
