新北市交通局為使公車於公車專用停靠區順利停靠，保障公車乘客上下之安全，藉由評鑑制度鼓勵轄內十四家公車業者，特別針對「違規停車占用公車專用停靠區」之行為，提供違規事證，交由本府警察局交通警察大隊加強執法，而實施一個月來，就有六十四案遭舉發。

交通局長趙紹廉表示，提升執法強度僅為達成交通安全目的之手段，絕非目的，而請汽機車駕駛人若有臨時停車需要應將車輛停放在路邊停車格或路外停車場，勿違規占用公車專用停靠區。
