美國白宮週一稍後澄清表示，未證實前總統卡特即將出訪朝鮮營救受困的韓裔美國公民裴俊虎。

路透社29日報導指出，稍早白宮發言人厄尼斯特(Josh Earnest)表示，卡特將以個人身分訪問朝鮮。白宮隨後澄清此一談話，指出該發言人並未證實卡特將前往朝鮮。
