禽流感 尼泊爾禁售雞肉產品

（法新社加德滿都1日電） 尼泊爾官員說，由於衛生人員在首都加德滿都郊外若干養雞場發現禽流感病例，政府自今天起禁止販售雞隻。

加德滿都區動物衛生局官員說，政府已對禽鳥製品的販售頒行1週禁令，以防H5N1病毒傳染給人類。

局長艾查里亞（Bolraj Acharya）說：「我們做此決定，是為了挽救人命和相關產業。」

他說，除非禽流感病毒在一週內獲得控制，否則當局可能延長禁令。他又說，政府已在各地市場部署安全部隊，以落實禁令。

政府管理的動物衛生局負責人說，尼泊爾最新禽流感疫情2週前爆發，衛生人員已在30個出現疫情的養雞場撲殺2萬隻雞，並銷毀1萬2000只雞蛋。（譯者：中央社羅苑韶）
