台灣第一人 紐約街景添色

（中央社記者江今葉紐約20日專電）台灣藝術家許唐瑋特別為紐約市政府創作的公共藝術作品「虛構西遊」，今天正式在紐約街頭展示，他也成為第1個為紐約街景創作的台灣藝術家。

紐約市運輸局（Department of Transportation）城市藝術計畫（Urban Art Program）與國際藝術工作室計畫（International studio & curatorialprogram）邀請許唐瑋，為紐約街頭創作的公共藝術作品「虛構西遊」，今天在紐約曼哈頓第9大道及36街口正式揭幕。

許唐瑋表示，這項作品是以東方文化為基礎，結合動漫及科幻圖像風格，並融合他在紐約生活的經歷，創作出極具個人特色的有機生物形態圖騰柱立體雕塑作品。

這個由3個垂直排成一串、看似外星小寶寶的物件組成，以一種對周遭環境好奇的姿勢偵測著周邊的環境，結合「西遊記」或「三隻猴子」的東方寓言，在人車流動快速的城市走廊上，好像在向大家打招呼或是招計程車，營造出紐約市獨特歡樂與忙碌的氣氛，希望引發路過的民眾會心一笑。1020821
