老虎「太背」 冠軍差1桿溜走

〔自由時報記者趙新天／綜合報導〕強忍背痛撐完比賽的球王「老虎」伍茲，在Barclays高球賽最後一洞只差了3吋，沒辦法打成延長賽，最後冠軍落入澳洲名將史考特（見下圖，法新社）手裡。

史考特最後一回合打出66桿，以273桿贏得美國PGA季後賽第1役冠軍和144萬美元（約4314萬台幣）首獎。伍茲以274桿和英格蘭羅斯、美國伍德蘭和加拿大迪雷特並列第2。

伍茲因為背痛難耐，在比賽中數度無法完成揮桿動作，第13洞的第2桿揮出，他痛得跪倒在草地上，這球也嚴重左拉掉進14洞果嶺前的水塘裡，後9洞3個柏忌把前9洞賺到的全部花光。

但伍茲還是拚到最後，第16、17洞連續精彩博蒂，追到只差1桿。最後一洞他的第2桿打到果嶺後方，留下26呎的距離，球在果嶺外，伍茲仍拿推桿來處理，這球推得真的不錯，球沿著下坡滾向洞口，但最後在觀眾嘆息聲中停在洞口前3吋，讓他非常失望。
