颱風百合侵襲 菲律賓8死

（法新社馬尼拉12日電） 菲律賓官員說，颱風百合（Nari）今天凌晨重創菲律賓北部，大樓屋頂嚴重損毀，並導致8人死亡，超過200萬人無電可用。

官員說，百合約在午夜侵襲菲國東部沿海，強風豪雨讓樹木和高壓電塔搖搖欲墜。之後百合向西移動，穿過呂宋島農業區。

國家減災風險管理委員會發言人巴利多（ReyBalido）在馬尼拉記者會表示：「1名員警等待救援時遭土石流掩埋殉職。」

他說，另有3人遭倒塌的樹木壓死，另一人因電纜線鬆脫觸電死亡。

布拉坎（Bulacan）省長阿瓦拉多（WilhelminoAlvarado）接受ABS-CBN電視台訪問時表示，布拉坎省大範圍淹水，兩名小孩和1名年長者不幸溺斃。

根據地區民防辦公室統計，颱風也導致呂宋島市中心37城市和鄉鎮斷電。官方數據顯示，目前有210萬人無電可用。
