板垣退助（加藤雅也）等人所推動的自由民權運動勢力持續的增加。覺馬（西島秀俊）等 人的京都府議會也對槙村（高嶋政宏）的橫暴政府不滿而準備利用報紙的社論加以制衡。 有一天畢業於同志社在今治傳教的伊勢時雄早就對覺馬的女兒峰（三根梓）有愛意而跟覺 馬提出想與峰結婚的請求，覺馬欣然的答應了，峰也覺得為了母親浦（長谷川京子）以及 招贅女婿進門也可以繼承山本家，但覺馬對女兒這樣的想法並不認同，八重(綾瀬遙)則以 峰對母親浦的思念心情來緩和氣氛…。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.227.226.125
