台灣五金展鄰台中高鐵 有助成交

第13屆台灣五金展首度移師台中舉辦，21日至23日將在大台中國際會展中心展出，8大專區，是亞洲唯一五金精品展會。台中市長胡志強說，手工具機的未來像太陽，不斷創造更高產值。

台灣手工具工業同業公會理事長吳傳福指出，2013台灣五金展別開生面，第一次選擇在中台灣擴大舉辦，主要是因為展場「大台中國際會展中心」坐落臺中烏日高鐵站旁，交通四通八達，希望國際買主能在半小時車程內實地走訪中台灣五金生產腹地，促成訂單快速成交，這是最主要目的。

去年近300家優質廠商熱情參與，購買力驚人，預估將帶來6億美元經濟效益。今年擴大規模首度移師到五金產業的故鄉台中舉辦，逾300 家廠商參展。

胡志強說，台灣手工具業70%在中台灣，他支持業者在台中盛大聯展，「手工具的未來像太陽！」。
