沙巴台商不撤資 視擄人為個案

（中央社記者郭朝河吉隆坡2013年11月17日專電）馬來西亞台灣商會聯合總會東馬區會長楊明勳表示，台灣男女遭殺擄案或許會影響台灣民眾來沙巴的意願，但本地台商認為這應是個案，不致因此撤資。

他解釋，來沙巴經商的台商對當地都有一定認識，相反的，台灣民眾對沙巴不是很熟悉，可能因此害怕不敢前來。

他認為，仙本離沙巴其他熱門旅遊景點如亞庇、山打根和斗湖等都有相當距離，而沙巴整體治安其實還比馬來半島好，沒有太多的街頭犯罪，只有在靠近菲律賓南部的若干城鎮有一定程度的安全威脅，因此他覺得這次殺擄事件可視為個案。

他說，沙巴年初在拉哈達杜（Lahad Datu）發生菲律賓蘇祿軍入侵事件後，大馬的執法單位已採取實際行動，防止治安惡化。這些行動加強了本地台商的信心，不會因殺擄事件而撤出在沙巴的投資。

另方面，中華民國駐馬來西亞台北經濟文化辦事處一等秘書周啟宇與秘書李坤達於16日上午前往案發地點實地瞭解案情，並協助受害者家屬處理善後。
