美參院銀委會將表決葉倫任命案

（中央社台北2013年11月19日電）彭博社報導，美國參議院銀行委員會（Senate Banking Committee）排定本月21日就任命葉倫（Janet Yellen）為聯邦準備理事會（Fed）主席案進行表決。

該委員會這項表決將為今年稍後美國參院整體表決通過奠定基礎。如經確認，現任聯準會副主席葉倫將成為美國史上首位女性央行首長。

民主黨在美國參院銀行委員會22名委員中取得兩票領先優勢。現年67歲的葉倫將接任柏南奇（Ben S.Bernanke）職位。柏南奇任期明年1月屆滿。

葉倫仍需獲5名共和黨參議員支持，才能在參院表決中取得60票通過確認為聯準會主席。

在上週美國參院銀行委員會發表證詞前兩小時，葉倫表明在見到經濟健全復甦前，她將加緊聯準會前所未見的貨幣刺激。她暗示決心以購債來強化經濟並降低該國7.3%失業率。（譯者：中央社徐睿承）
