康康的兒子１歲７個月大，小小年紀已會說「乾杯」、「Party」、「跳舞」等詞彙，他得意小孩聰明：「他『乾』的音還不會念，但會舉杯說『阿杯』，我也嚇一跳，１歲多的小孩這麼會講話。」

46歲的他老來得子，很寵小孩，常和小孩玩打架遊戲，小孩打他臉也不介意，倒是老婆會制止，就怕小孩沒大沒小。

他日前做健檢報告出爐，除尿酸過高，沒太多毛病，他說想要身體健康看小孩長大，笑說「等他滿18，帶他去酒店見識一下」。他29日和黃嘉千錄中視《超級歌喉讚》，黃和來賓張秀卿都說明年要再拚生小孩，40歲的黃擔心再不生第２胎，年紀就太大，康康說順其自然，還虧張唱歌腳開開：「果然是準備明年要生小孩的！」
