【時報-台北電】澳洲央行將在周二召開本年度最後1次利率會議，由於該央行自2011年以來一連串降息政策已逐漸發揮功效，市場預期澳洲央行在本周會議將維持利率按兵不動。

根據路透社對24名分析師的調查訪問顯示，全數都預期澳洲央行將在周二會議上，維持基準利率於紀錄低點2.5％不變。

不過也有9名分析師認為，澳洲央行將在2014年上半年進一步放寬貨幣政策。其他則認為利率將繼續持穩。

澳洲央行已在過去連續3個月維持利率不動。該央行自2011年底啟動降息行動以來，迄今已經大幅調降利率225個基點。

然而根據該央行日前發布的最新利率會議紀錄顯示，該央行總裁史蒂文斯與及央行理事會都認為，有諸多證據顯示，調降利率已經逐漸發揮功效。但鑒於澳元匯價依然處於「令人不安」的高價位，澳洲央行仍須維持寬鬆政策的選項。(新聞來源：工商時報─記者蕭麗君／綜合外電報導)
