在外租屋，房東違約，想解約並拿回押金

我是學生，在民雄與同學租了一棟透天作為宿舍，房東是一對年紀頗大的老夫婦，只有房東先生會講國語，房東太太只能以台語溝通。
先前便有注意到房東太太會將他們家的雜物(如腳踏車、採收下來的花生)堆在我們這棟的一樓停車棚，而且會隨意用備用鑰匙進出我們這棟樓，後來他們的孫子買了一台行動pizza餐車，會接我們這棟的電來加熱他的烤爐，跟房東反應「不要接我們的電」以後，房東只有回應「只有用一點點」「不然你們下次的電費扣掉上次電費之後，多出來的部分我們貼」。基於以上三個原因，想要與房東解約並且搬走，但是房租契約當初簽了一年，擔心房東不願意退還2000元押金，其他同學對於這2000元押金的態度比較冷漠，她們的反應幾乎都是「可是我們違約耶，押金一定拿不回來啦」。但對我來說這2000元非常重要，只要有機會我一定要把這2000元拿回來。想請問該如何處理才能拿回押金？
