（路透加州拉荷亞6日電）主辦單位今天表示，高爾夫世界排名第1的老虎伍茲，新的1年將從他最喜歡的球場之一托瑞松林球場（Torrey Pines）出發，參加本月開打的農保公開賽（Farmers Insurance Open）。

伍茲（Tiger Woods）去年在農保公開賽以贏4桿封王，結束表現風光的1週，拿下個人職業生涯第75座PGA冠軍獎盃，也創下在單1球場贏得8勝的紀錄。 伍茲上個月在記者會上的一番話，已讓各界預料他將正式承諾參加本月23-26日的農保公開賽，尋求衛冕。 伍茲上個月在自己擔任東道主的西北互惠世界挑戰賽（Northwestern Mutual World Challenge）上，在加洞延長賽敗給同胞強生（Zach Johnson）。賽後記者提問，進入新球季，對自己的信心是比以往高一點還是少一點。 他回答說：「我在托瑞松林表現很不錯，那會是我的第1場比賽。」中央社（翻譯）
