對向車道 滑來機車卻要求賠償

請問..
上個月我女兒在竹北事發生車禍
女兒車上有行車紀錄器

車禍發生當時 對方騎乘機車從巷子出來
在對向車道
對方意出巷子 就自己滑倒
機車則從距離好幾公尺遠的對向車道滑過來撞上我女兒的車
行車紀錄器 拍得很清楚

但是第一次調解 對方卻要求我們要幫他修車
還說他受傷要包紅包壓驚

我女兒是孕婦 也受到驚嚇
我方並不想要求賠償(友在警局備案 警方說我方可以要求賠償修車費)

可是對方卻要求我方賠償(感覺很委屈)
