清除基隆巨石 預估不用膨脹劑

巨石清除進度超前 (圖) （中央社記者王朝鈺基隆6日電）基隆市府工務處養護工程科長簡翊哲表示，清除巨石作業在今天上午展開，廠商原先準備180孔劑量的膨脹劑，預估派不上用場。
簡翊哲指出，粗估今天上午已清除巨石的1/10，「巨石雖然堅硬，但並沒有想像那麼難以摧毀」，原則上清除巨石工程不會用到膨脹劑，整個作業包含後續復舊在內，預計在9月15日完成。

專家指出，位於基隆北寧路山坡上重達2000噸、800立方公尺的巨石，經日前基隆強降雨後，岩石內部已蓄積不少水分，加上近日基隆豔陽高照，經過熱漲冷縮後，巨石已不如想像來得堅硬。

廠商原先準備180孔劑量的膨脹劑，若遇到巨石堅硬處，可在巨石上每隔35公分開鑿深約2公尺的孔，再塞入膨脹劑裂解巨石，但簡翊哲說「應該不會用到」。

專家指出，「膨脹劑工法」主要是用於緊急工程、災害搶救等，優點在於不會有爆炸引起的飛石、震動、噪音等公害及危險，藥劑在安裝後約1到2小時左右，岩石內部壓力可達1萬psi，藉此裂解巨石。1020906
