美國務院歡迎ICAO邀台赴會

（中央社記者廖漢原華盛頓2013年9月12日專電）美國國務院今天就台灣獲邀參與國際民航組織（ICAO）大會表示歡迎。國務院強調，美國全面支持台灣成為無須以國家為必要條件的國際性組織會員。

國務院發言人指出，美方歡迎ICAO理事會主席龔薩雷茲（Roberto Kobeh Gonzalez）邀請台灣民航部門，以貴賓身分參加9月底在加拿大蒙特婁舉行，3年一度的ICAO大會。

美方讚許龔薩雷茲和ICAO會員展現靈活度與對台灣的支持，同意台灣有意義參與民航界的重要活動。

國務院發言人再度強調，美國全面支持台灣成為無須以國家為必要條件的國際性組織會員，同時鼓勵台灣適當並有意義參與無法給予會員身分的各大組織。
