疑掃到颱風尾 寮國空難44死

（路透曼谷16日電）寮國航空公司（LaoAirlines）1架在暴風雨中飛行的班機今天在寮國南部墜毀湄公河，機上44人全都喪命。航空官員表示，颱風可能是飛機失事的罪魁禍首。

機況很新的ATR-72渦輪螺旋槳式飛機自寮國首都永珍起飛，約在下午4時10分墜毀，距離目的地百細（Pakse）僅8公里。百細鄰近泰國及柬埔寨邊境。 寮國航空發布聲明表示，尚未確定失事原因，而1位高級航空官員表示，百合（Nari）颱風尾可能是飛機失事的原因。 罹難者多半是寮國國民。但寮國外交部長法畢斯（Laurent Fabius）表示，有7名法國籍乘客罹難。 泰國外交部發言人表示，有5名泰國人墜機身亡，另外還有南韓、澳洲、加拿大、台灣、中國大陸、緬甸及越南等國籍的乘客罹難。 數位官員證實，乘客及機組員無人生還。中央社（翻譯）
