周星馳壞脾氣在圈內馳名，他與導演王晶在1999年合作電影《千王之王2000》，因工作摩擦扯破臉，日後兩人多次隔空交火，王晶曾不客氣批他：「我是真小人，他是偽君子。」交惡14年的兩人，近期傳有望破冰同台。

陸媒表示，王晶加入安徽衛視新節目《超級笑星》，製作單位力邀周擔任節目評委。溝通過程中，兩人沒有互相排斥，周雖為電影檔期無法擔任常任導師，但據傳，他已點頭答應在總決賽中以嘉賓評委身分加入。

周個性孤傲，圈內朋友不多，曾與吳孟達、洪金寶、吳君如等藝人互不往來，他與王晶間的矛盾更在他日前宣傳《西遊·降魔篇》時再點戰火，周隔空回擊王晶指控，並與王劃清界限。外傳兩人私下已溝通，《超級笑星》11月中旬才開播，周王之爭能否化解，有待觀察。
