台助巴國推動 改善民生計畫

（中央社台北13日電）中華民國協助巴拉圭社會行動部「改善民生計畫」2013年第二期合作議事錄簽署儀式，當地時間12日在巴國總統府舉行，由巴國總統卡提斯出席見證，並感謝中華民國的協助。

儀式首由司儀宣讀捐贈議事錄內容，由社會行動部部長卡德納斯（Hector Ramon Cardenas）與駐巴拉圭大使劉德立共同簽署議事錄。

卡德納斯致詞感謝中華民國政府近年來對計畫的支持及協助，強調透過此一計畫的執行，巴國境內極貧家庭生活已漸獲改善，其中尤以貧童接受教育、獲致營養及接種疫苗比率大幅提高，並有效降低兒童及出生兒死亡率等。

劉德立致詞重申這次合作案是中華民國珍視友邦篤睦關係的再度展現，肯定這項計畫成效卓著。

此外，卡提斯（Horacio Cartes）也在典禮進行中，親自向劉德立表達對中華民國政府慨助的謝忱。1021113
