法媒：甘比亞因利益與台斷交

（中央社記者蔡筱穎巴黎15日專電）法國「費加洛報」（Le Figaro）網站今天報導，甘比亞「因戰略國家利益」與台灣斷交，但官方不願證實。報導說，「目前還不清楚這個斷交是的動機是否與中國有關」。

費加洛報報導，台甘自1995年7月建立外交關係，目前還不清楚斷交是的動機是否與中國大陸有關，因中國大陸在非洲的影響力益增，並試圖說服台灣的友邦琵琶別抱。

報導說，甘比亞的水稻種植、醫療設備供給、醫療教育和道路建設，台灣付出不少。

報導指出，因台灣慷慨，大多數非洲國家最初選擇與台灣建交，但邦交國數目逐漸減少，僅剩史瓦濟蘭、聖多美普林西比民主共和國和布吉納法索是台灣的非洲友邦。

費加洛報指出，上個月宣布退出大英國協（Commonwealth）的甘比亞政府表示，儘管與台灣的外交關係破裂，但仍打算與亞洲國家保持良好的關係。1021115
