BBC：甘比亞與台灣斷交

（中央社記者黃貞貞倫敦15日專電）英國廣播公司（BBC）網站今天報導，西非國家甘比亞總統賈梅以國家戰略利益為由，宣布與中華民國斷交，但仍將維持與台灣人民的友誼。

報導說，甘比亞是少數與台灣有邦交關係的非洲國家，目前並不清楚斷交的決定是否與中國大陸在非洲的影響力日增有關。

報導引述賈梅（Yahya A.J.J.Jammeh）辦公室的聲明，指出和台灣斷交的決定是基於國家戰略利益，過去18年與中華民國有非常強健與穩固的夥伴關係，成果斐然，儘管與台灣斷交，仍將維持與台灣民眾的朋友關係。

報導同時引述外交部政務次長柯森耀的話說，中華民國政府對賈梅宣布立即斷絕與中華民國的外交關係，感到震驚與遺憾，認為這是賈梅個人的決定。

甘比亞斷交後，台灣在非洲的邦交國還有史瓦濟蘭、聖多美普林西比及布吉納法索。本週稍早，聖多美普林西比表示，大陸有意設立貿易辦事處。1021115
