（法新社新加坡29日電） 新加坡今天說，不願捲入是非，證實或否認星國是美國領導下亞洲電子情蒐網路的1站。

外交部長尚穆根（K. Shanmugam）在1個論壇上說，鄰國印尼和馬來西亞都了解，星國無意傷害與他們的關係。印尼和大馬本週曾召見星國大使，以詢問相關報導。

「海峽時報」網站報導尚穆根的談話說：「我們總不能說，我們在這部分反恐行動上與美國及澳洲合作，有5%或95%屬實；但又說，不是這部分。」

他說，星國若談論特定的情報問題，那麼因此引起的來回問答將「沒完沒了」。

他在海峽時報主辦的論壇上說：「重點是，印尼和馬來西亞都知道，我們不會做出任何傷害他們利益的事。」

「雪梨晨驅報」（Sydney Morning Herald）25日報導，新加坡和南韓在美國、英國、澳洲、加拿大和紐西蘭組成的「五眼」情報網路中，發揮了重要的支援作用。
