（中央社台北2014年1月14日電）美國傳統基金會公布2014年「全球經濟自由度指數」顯示，全球178個經濟體中，澳門的總體經濟自由度排名29名、亞太地區第7名。

中新社引述報告顯示，澳門的總體經濟自由度評分為71.3，評分雖下降0.4，但仍高於世界平均。

報導指出，亞太地區42個經濟體中，澳門排名第7，僅次於香港、新加坡、澳洲、紐西蘭、台灣及日本。

根據10項經濟自由度指標，澳門排名較高的包括政府開支、貿易自由度、投資自由度、貨幣自由度及金融自由度等；勞力自由化、防貪腐表現較不佳。

報告稱，澳門長期以來受惠於全球貿易和投資；有效的經商環境，私有產權相對受到尊重。度假娛樂項目及相關的基礎設施投資，已將澳門的小型經濟體轉變成為世界領先的旅遊目的地。
