【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】韓國經濟日報報導，三星電子可能在今年10月推出12吋平板電腦。

報導中指出，三星電子正著手開發12吋平板電腦，將取代目前的11.6吋平板，成為旗下螢幕尺寸最大的平板產品，使三星該產品陣容擴大為7～12吋。

目前尚不清楚三星何時將發布12吋平板，但產業人士預期，三星12吋平板可能在10月推出。

市場研究公司IDC表示，三星今年第二季平板出貨量為810萬台，較去年同期增加210萬台；三星全球平板市占率為18.9%，是去年同期的2.5倍。
