颱風潭美逼近，台東離島交通輪從上午九點三十分開始，分批撤離一千六百多名在綠島的遊客。交通輪業者指出，受到颱風來襲影響，即日起到二十二號，台東往返綠島和蘭嶼的航班全部停航。根據氣象局的資料顯示，颱風潭美逼近，蘭嶼、綠島容易出現長浪，海邊的風浪也會逐漸增強，民眾前往海邊活動要特別注意安全。
