（中央社記者蕭保祥天津6日電）2013年天津東亞運今天上午進行棒球賽事首戰，不過因為霧霾太嚴重，讓中華隊與關島的首戰被迫延後30分鐘開打。

東亞運棒球賽事在天津體育中心棒球場進行，中華隊上午9時預賽首戰碰上關島。不過沒想到上午因為霧霾嚴重，組委會原本想延後10分鐘開打，只是中華隊總教練呂明賜認為能見度差，獲得關島教練認可後，雙方同意延後30分鐘開打。

天津清晨出現嚴重霧霾，讓棒球首場賽事就出現延誤。

也由於能見度差，中華隊取消室外打擊與守備練習。
