印外交官遭脫衣搜身 美遺憾

（法新社新德里18日電） 印度駐紐約領事館副總領事、39歲的德維雅妮．柯布拉加德（DevyaniKhobragade）傳出遭美國執法人員脫光衣服「體腔搜身」，引發印度憤怒回應，美國今天向印度表示遺憾。

向來與美國友好的印度揚言報復美國外交官，美國國務卿凱瑞（John Kerry）致電印度國家安全顧問梅農（Shivshankar Menon），試圖平息風波。

國務院聲明說：「凱瑞國務卿身為2個女兒的父親，女兒們與德維雅妮．柯布拉加德年齡相仿，他對於柯布拉加德小姐被捕後，我們從印方聽到的敏感情事感同身受。」

凱瑞向梅農「表達遺憾與擔憂，希望這起不幸的公開問題不會傷害我國與印度親密而重要的情誼」。

國務院發言人哈夫（Marie Harf）說，「對凱瑞國務卿來說特別重要的是，在美服務的外國外交官，應該一如我們預期自家外交官在海外應得的待遇，獲得尊重和尊嚴」。（譯者：中央社樂羽嘉）
