22歲的臺中市民林品任今年6月參加「日本仙台國際音樂大賽」，成為臺灣第一位冠軍得主，更獲得觀眾票選最佳人緣獎，今(22)日於市政會議接受市長胡志強表揚，也當場演奏曲目獻給市府，這位出身臺中的小提琴家，不僅是臺中市的驕傲，更是臺灣之光。
