鹿兒島櫻島火山 噴吐火山灰

（法新社東京18日電） 時事通信社（Jiji Press）報導，氣象官員表示，日本南部櫻島火山今天壯觀噴發，噴吐5000公尺高達雲霄的火山灰柱。

時事通信社說，鹿兒島市（Kagoshima city）附近1117公尺高的櫻島火山（Mount Sakurajima），於下午4時30分左右噴發。

大量的火山灰掉落在鹿兒島市城北和市中心，造成火車誤點以及能見度不佳，許多駕駛人得打開大燈開車。

這是櫻島火山第500次噴發，前後持續了約50分鐘。

時事通信社說，這次噴發也導致火山口流出約1公里遠的小規模火山碎屑。
