菲撞船意外 沈船漏油嚴重

（法新社菲律賓宿霧18日電） 菲律賓當局今天說，因無法止住一艘沈沒渡輪漏油，油汙已蔓延至5公里外的濱海村莊、漁場和紅樹林區。

「聖湯瑪斯．艾奎納斯號」（St.Thomas Aquinas）渡輪16日晚在宿霧港（Cebu）外與一艘貨輪相撞，造成至少39人死亡。宿霧是菲律賓第2大城。

當局今天把焦點放在搜尋據信還在渡輪內的85名失蹤者。已沉到水下30公尺的渡輪出現漏油問題，又為船難處理增添新挑戰。

宿霧海防指揮官對法新社說：「可看到沈船在漏油。漏的是黑色船用重油。」

他說：「漏油已影響在宿霧本地和鄰近馬克坦島（Mactan）的大片海岸線。」

他說，船上約有12萬公升船用重油，而潛水夫無法接近漏油處。（譯者：中央社羅苑韶）
